Summer 2017



Canoe and Quilt raffle tickets are available throughout the summer season. You will find them at businesses around the community and at both museums.

The quilt is named "Les Cheneaux Reflections" and was pieced and hand quilted by the Les Cheneaux Quilters Guild.

The "13 foot Cedar Strip Canoe" was built by Paul Wilson, Lynn Wolters,and their crew, Robert A. Smith (Lakeside Bob) and Mike Jellison.

Saturday, May 27th - Historical and Maritime Museums open for the season.
Hours 10:30 am to 4:30 pm

Wednesday, June 28th – Artist of the Week at the Historical Museum from 12 Noon to 3 pm

Saturday, July 1st – Music at the Maritime at 7pm featuring the Beach Chickens
Refreshments will be served

Monday, August 21st- Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon at the Historical Museum at 12 Noon
Sunday, August 27th- Raffle Drawings for the quilt and canoe at the Maritime Museum at 2 pm
Saturday, September 9th- Historical and Maritime Museums close for the season

                  Artist of the Week and Music at the Maritime are supported by the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs Minigrant Program, administered by EUP Planning and Development
